Continuing Education
California registered nurses are required by law to complete 30 contact hours of continuing education every two years to maintain an active license. The purpose of continuing education is to ensure that nurses stay abreast of current industry practices, enhance their professional competence, learn about new technology and treatment regimens, and update their clinical skills. Nursing Pharmacology | $79.95
This comprehensive pharmacology course is written and designed for the working nurse and the nursing student. This course is a self-study online course that you will complete on your own timeline. This self-study course will help the nursing student to successfully understand and apply pharmacology concepts during nursing school and to help prepare for NCLEX. This course will provide the basic concepts of pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics, legal and ethical aspects, a module on antimicrobials, and an in-depth exploration of medication groups based on body systems.

Geriatric 3Ds (Depression, Delirium, and Dementia) | $79.95
Geriatric 3Ds: Depression, Delirium, & Dementia course provides nurses the knowledge, skills, and attitudes (KSAs) needed in order to provide optimal care to the older adult population who are at risk for, or are experiencing; depression, delirium, or dementia. The 3Ds are common, multifaceted, and challenging to manage. This course aims to provide the learner what they need to identify and understand the signs and symptoms, risk factors, and various treatments/interventions for each of these conditions. Nurses must remain current in the nursing care of older adults. Depression, delirium, and dementia are uniquely different however, it is often difficult to differentiate between the 3Ds without the proper knowledge, tools, and training. This course delivers a comprehensive review of each of these conditions along with relevant nursing care. The 3Ds course incorporates evaluation methods including knowledge checks, case studies, and a comprehensive final quiz to assess competency.
