Rene Santiago, MSN, BSN
BSN PROFESSOR
Rene Santiago joins United Nursing College as a highly-motivated Registered Nurse with 35 years of experience and a knowledge base in educational theories. She currently serves as a NICU Transport Coordinator for Loma Linda University Children's Hospital, and she teaches in person as a Kaplan NCLEX Instructor preparing nursing students for their NCLEX Exam.
Prior to her current occupations, she was a NICU Staff Nurse at Loma Linda Children's Hospital where she provided competent and safe patient care on an 84 bed Level III unit, which included the role of shift coordinator. Rene was also fortunate to serve three years as a Supply Systems Analyst at the Naval Supply Center in Oakland, CA. She is excited to work with students at United Nursing College to ensure they are safe, competent, and can think critically to solve problems.
