Pamela Herrscher, BSRN, RN-NIC
LEAD SKILLS LAB INSTRUCTOR
Pamela Herrscher is a Lead Skills Lab Instructor at United Nursing College. Pamela earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 1986 from Murray State University, and she has worked as a bedside nurse with a primary emphasis in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for 40 years.
Pamela's nursing journey began in 1988 at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center as a Level 3 NICU nurse for over 10 years. Her experience at UC Irvine Medical Center also included serving as an instructor in neonatal resuscitation. She also worked as a per diem nurse at St. Jude's Medical Center in Fullerton, California, working in a Level 2 NICU, assisting with neonatal resuscitation tests for nurses. Pamela then served in a Level 1 Nursery at Rancho Springs Medical Center in Murrieta, California, before eventually working in the NICU at Rady Children's Hospital in Murrieta, California. Pamela has also worked as a clinical instructor for Mt. San Jacinto College and California State University, San Marcos, before joining United Nursing College. Instructor Herrscher has a profound desire to instruct students and to continually improve their skills and knowledge in UNC's skills lab.
