Kelly Kennedy, MSN,RN

PROFESSOR, ADN

Kelly Kennedy joins United Nursing College in Murrieta as a Nursing Fundamentals Professor. Kelly has 14 years of nursing experience in Med-Surg, Telemetry, Hospice, Covid testing, and as an Assistant professor for two years at a local university. Her goal when she graduated with her ADN from Alabama Southern Community College in 2010 was to become an instructor by 2015, but she fell in love with bedside nursing and put that dream on hold. In 2019, she started an ADN to MSN program and obtained her MSN in Nursing Education from Western Governors University in 2022.

Kelly not only brings a wealth of knowledge from nursing, but she also brings experience from her previous years as an EMT, volunteer firefighter, pulp mill worker, and waitress. Her mission is to come alongside students and meet them where they are in their nursing journey. Kelly's passion for mentoring students and promoting high quality patient care aligns well with United Nursing College's own mission and values.
