Jeanette Wells, DNP, MSN, BSN, RN
ADN PROFESSOR
Dr. Jeanette Wells joins United Nursing College as a focused, organized third semester ADN Professor who will assist ADN students in building competency in practical nursing skills. Dr. Wells has been a nurse for the last seven years, and in that time, she has worked as a postpartum, clinic, and ER nurse.
After earning a BSN from Oklahoma Christian University, she successfully completed her MSN with an emphasis in education in 2020 from Grand Canyon University and has since worked for a number of different schools as adjunct faculty. Running and teaching a skills lab has been the highlight of her career because this is where students not only connect their didactic knowledge to their clinical knowledge, but also grow in their confidence. This has led Jeanette to pursue her doctorate which focuses on building resilience in future nurses to better prepare them for their careers. She recently successfully defended her doctoral dissertation from Azusa Pacific University. Students at UNC will immediately feel the impact of Jeanette's expertise and instructional skills, and her kind and confident approach to education will benefit nursing students from all backgrounds.
