This pathway is for Military, LVNs, Psych Techs, and Medics. Take your skills to the next level!
Summer 2025 Workshop Series Application Period: 3/1/25 - 3/31/25
Pathway Overview
The Advanced Placement (AP) Pathway is designed and built specifically for Military, LVNs, Psych Techs, and Medics who want to transition to their ADN degree. Application to the pathway is essentially two steps: preparing/submitting requisite documents and completion of a workshop series skillfully designed with didactic and laboratory instruction.
To register for the Mandatory Workshop Series, students must have already completed and met United Nursing College's general admission requirements. Points earned in the Mandatory Workshop Series will be converted to a point system and added to the application criteria for admission into the Advanced Placement Pathway. The workshop series does not guarantee admission into the Advanced Placement Pathway; however, the certificate of completion is valid for two years.
As part of the workshop series, students can expect the following:
- Examinations (4)
- Math Competency Exam (1)
- Skills Validations (3)
